Ashley Cain set to become a father again as he says late daughter Azaylia will have another brother to look after
ASHLEY Cain has revealed he’s set to become a dad for the third time with a sweet post on social media.
The 34-year-old took to Instagram to tell fans he’s expecting another son, following the birth of little boy Aliyas Diamond in January.
Ex on the Beach star Ashley is also dad to daighter Azaylia – who he shares with ex Safiyya Vorajee – who tragically died in April 2021 aged eight months.
Ashley wrote: “My little girl will soon have another little brother to watch over, and my little boy will not only be a baby brother but a big brother too.
“With all the heartache I’ve been through, I’m truly grateful that I can really start counting my blessings again!!”
Ashley has never revealed the identity of Aliyas’ mother and it’s unclear if his unborn third child has the same mum.
Earlier this year the doting dad was forced to be away from his son for three months as he became the first man to run, cycle and kayak from John O’Groats to Land’s End back to back.
He took on the mammoth task in memory of daughter Azaylia and travelled nearly 3,000 miles in total and raised close to £200,000 for The Azaylia Foundation, which supports families of children with cancee.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun after his challenge, Ashley said: “Missing my son, I used to have to try and finish the run, the cycle or the kayak early enough to try and Facetime him, but even that was a rare occasion.
“So I just had to have the faith that I was doing the right thing for my daughter. And she was my hero.
“So hopefully I could be his hero by pushing through in the process. So that’s why I had faith in me.”
Ashley and Safiyya tragically lost Azaylia to leukaemia in 2021 when she was just eight months old.
Announcing Aliyas’ birth in January, Ashley wrote on social media: “Aliyas Diamond Cain – 16.01.24, 4:32am, 9lbs 3oz.
“I will love you, appreciate you, guide you and protect you with all of my heart, for the rest of my life.
“& you will have the most beautiful guardian angel heaven holds watching over you and protecting you too. Welcome to the world my son.”
