FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Happy Wednesday!
We start the morning off with patchy, dense fog across the region. That starts to lift by about mid-morning, and then we've got some big changes on the way. Temperatures will still be fairly mild this afternoon, with highs in the upper 50s, but gusty winds start to kick in. We'll also see rain showers along a cold front between about 11 AM and 5 PM today. Temperatures then quickly drop tonight.
For our Thursday, temperatures plateau in the middle 30s, but it will feel like the middle 20s most of the day thanks to strong gusty winds. Additionally, an area of low pressure to our north will spin rain and snow showers through Central Ohio in waves throughout the day. Luckily, surface temps are above freezing, so no ice impacts, but could see some slush on elevated areas.
By Friday, we're left with a few scattered rain showers as things start to clear up. Highs head back to the lower 40s, but we'll still be breezy.
The weekend looks much calmer, with mainly cloudy conditions to start, but less breezy. Highs will be in the mid 40s Saturday, then near 50 by Sunday.
