Full list of schools closures across UK today in second day of snow warnings
Schools across the UK have been forced to close again as Brits wake up to more wintery weather.
The Met Office has warned of dangerous conditions with yellow weather alerts in place in Birmingham, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the east of England.
Schools are now considering closing for the day, with some in Aberdeenshire closing after heavy snowfall was announced.
Others have also closed in Oxfordshire due to electrical and water supply issues.
Parents have been advised to check online again today to see if their child’s school has reopened.

Charity Age UK warned that the conditions could be dangerous for vulnerable people, including the elderly.
Dr Agostinho Sousa, from the UKHSA, said: ‘This is the first amber Cold Weather Health Alert of the season, but we can expect more as we approach winter, and it is vital to check in on vulnerable friends, family and neighbours to ensure they are well prepared for the onset of cold weather.
‘Particularly if they are elderly or otherwise at increased risk.’
