House lawmakers have 'numerous' photos linked to Matt Gaetz allegations: report
House ethics investigators are reportedly in possession of “numerous” photos from two women who claim former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) paid them for sex.
The new details emerged Tuesday during an appearance by the women’s attorney Joel Leppard on CNN’s “OutFront” days after President-elect Donald Trump tapped Gaetz to lead the Justice Department as attorney general. The women said they were paid by Gaetz for sex on a 2019 trip to New York, which they also said was paid for by Gaetz, Leppard told host Erin Burnett.
“The women additionally provided the House Ethics Committee with selfies Gaetz is said to have sent them. They also testified that they sent nude photos to Gaetz, sometimes at his request,” their lawyer told CNN.

The constant drip of damning information involving Gaetz’s allegations has so far not concerned Trump, who told a reporter earlier Tuesday that he’s not reconsidering Gaetz’s nomination as the country’s next top law enforcer. Allegations that Gaetz participated in drug-fueled sex parties surfaced Monday.
“The evidence that the House has, I would presume, is overwhelming, because my clients were just two of the other witnesses, and there are very important witnesses who have yet to come out and give a preview of what the House Ethics Committee results might show,” Leppard told CNN.
The information he was talking about on air “is just a fraction of the evidence that’s available, of the thousands of documents” obtained by the House, he noted.
Gaetz has vehemently denied any wrongdoing and pointed to a Justice Department investigation that did not result in any charges as proof of his innocence.
