Living in Sheffield, Dan woke up to a winter wonderland scene this morning, which he appreciated at first glance.
Taking to his Instagram story first thing, Dan shared a snap of some snow-covered trees and bushes, seemingly happy to see the snow glistening outside of his window.
But shortly after his initial post about the snow, Dan shared a snap of his car, which he had to abandon after it broke down.
Dan’s car broke down while he was en route from his home to the Classic FM studio, and he then documented his car horror on social media.
“Had to abandon broken down car in the snow this morning. Very late for Classic FM show,” he penned on X and Instagram, alongside a snap of his car.
“Hopefully on air soon. Stay safe out there,” he concluded.
Responding on X, formerly known as Twitter, one person wrote, “Lucy has been holding down the fort brilliantly. Safe travels.”
Another said, “I know they stay 3 flakes of snow and Britain grinds to a halt but you didn’t have to join in.”
‘NORMAL FROSTY DAY’
“Sorry Dan that just looks like a normal frosty day in my area, there’s no snow there,” slammed a third.
While a fourth added, “Barely a dusting.”
And a fifth penned, “With all your wonga would have thought you could afford a decent motor that doesn’t break down at the first sign of snow Dan.”
Lucy Coward covers the early breakfast slot before Dan gets into the studio, with fans praising her for stepping in and staying on air for longer while Dan was absent.
