Walton: Word abuse committed by AI in grammar, spelling
EDITOR’s NOTE: Mr. Walton’s column was assembled today with the assistance of artificial intelligence. The way AI sees it, his intelligence is artificial anyway, so it seemed like a good match. To help him out, AI tools minimized the almost negligible editorial research required and eliminated gramma’s airs. It is regrettable that gramma is held in such low regard, but the airs don’t help. Word abuse and misuse make all of us in the AI bubble star-craving mad. Thanks to the efforts of AI, we prove dunce and for all that who man is not necessary. Even so, in the interest of fair play, we yield the flower.
