Natasha Lyonne Goes Grungy in Edgy Black Combat Boots at a ‘Surveilled’ Screening in New York
Natasha Lyonne graced the red carpet for a screening of “Surveilled” during the 2024 DOC NYC at Village East yesterday in New York.
Going grunge for her red carpet moment, the “But I’m a Cheerleader” actress sported a pair of timeless rugged combat booties. Partnered with black and white striped knee socks, the footwear pick was ankle length and crafted of black shiny leather. Coordinating black lace-up closures gave way to almond-shaped toes and shiny gold hardware that acted to contrast the dark uppers.
Coach, Ann Demeulemeester, Prada, Bottega Veneta and Miu Miu all feature silhouettes just like Lyonne’s own in a range of sizes and compositions. Combat boots have become a closet staple for many thanks to the shoe’s versatile nature. Within the last few months, major stars like Ciara, Cardi B and even Kate Middleton have all been spotted wearing some version of the ever-popular combat boot.
On the outfit front, the “Poker Face” star donned a black patent leather jacket with faux-fur trim partnered with a matching black patent leather miniskirt. Lyonne also toted a crossbody bag in matching black and white hues with a gold chain strap.
You can often find Lyonne in a variety of colorful suits, sets and dresses featuring campy details and patterns from glamorous brands like Miu Miu and Moschino. On the footwear front, the “Russian Doll” actress usually gravitates towards thigh-high and ankle boots, mules and pointed-toe pumps from brands like Schiaparelli, Hermes and Gucci on the red carpet.
