GOP strategist flags 'truly disturbing' part of Trump's recent nominations
A lot of people have voiced concern about Donald Trump's decision to nominate to his new administration people who want to destroy the departments to which they would be assigned, but they are missing the point, a Republican strategist said on Saturday.
Speaking on MSNBC over the weekend, Republican strategist Susan del Percio, who has a history of working with Republican candidates and in Rudy Giuliani's administration, was asked about the former and incoming president's political appointments of Matt Gaetz, Tulsi Gabbard, and others to his new administration.
She began by saying Trump was doing exactly "what he said he would do when he was on the campaign trail."

"He said he was going to make RFK Jr. in charge of all health, so he is doing that," she said, before adding, "Now, the thing that is just truly disturbing about these appointments is not that he is hiring people who are looking to put people in place who want to tear down the system. In a lot of ways that is why people voted for Donald Trump."
She continued, "What we have to remember, he did win the national vote. You either have to put someone in who understands the policies and the subject matter, or someone who is really good at running things. And everyone he is choosing, or the top four we talked about, the most horrific ones, have no experience in either thing. Add to that, they are all going to have to work really hard. I don't think they even know what's in store for them, if they get these jobs."
