Host Matt Tebbutt asked Josh how it was going so far and he replied: “It’s going well.
“I’m loving it, I think. I don’t know. I thought I was going to be terrible and I’m just bad.”
Chef Niklas Ekstedt was also on the show and chimed in: “Do they pay you for doing that?”
Swerving the question, Josh said: “On a TV show, that’s never been the follow-up question.
“‘What’s the breakdown of the finances for this tour that you’re promoting?'”
Moving the conversation on, Josh said: “It’s really fun and my daughter’s seven and she’s a huge fan.
“I brought her to training to meet Karen [Hauer, Josh’s professional partner] and that was really nice.”
Speaking about signing up for the show, Josh said: “I am utterly terrified this will end in humiliation and worried I’m going to be so bad I will ruin Christmas for the nation.
“Why have I done this?”
Josh is most well-known for his time at the top of the British comedy circuit as well as his appearances on Channel 4 show The Last Leg.
He has been a team captain on the programme for over 30 series working alongside Adam Hills and Alex Brooker.
