Married cop loses job for asking out two women he met on duty – and having sex with one of them
A MARRIED cop was dismissed for asking out two women whose details he got on duty — and having sex with one of them.
PC Jason Taylor was axed without notice after he “betrayed the trust” of the pair.
The dad had a fling with his first victim “Ms Y” after obtaining her number at an accident scene in 2008.
She ended it after finding out that Isle of Wight-based officer Taylor was married with children.
In 2009, Taylor took Kelly D’Costa’s details after stopping her for using her phone while driving.
She was “flattered” when he sent her a “friendly message” and texts but also cut ties when she saw on Facebook he was married.
Taylor was found guilty of gross misconduct at a three-day hearing in Eastleigh, Hants.
A denied allegation that he had sex with “Ms X” as they searched her dead boyfriend’s house for drugs in 2004 was not proven.
Hampshire’s Deputy Chief Constable Sam de Reya said the public must have “complete faith” the police will “protect and support them”.
