STRICTLY’S Blackpool week got off to an awkward start when the judges and hosts came together for a dance.
Tonight’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing saw judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke team up with Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
They strutted their stuff to Spice Girls classic Spice Up Your Life – but Claudia, 52, made a slight blunder – causing Motsi, 43, to push her out of the way.
As they shimmied to the right, Claudia was seen going left and bumped into Motsi as a result.
The mistake was caught by viewers, with one writing on social media: “Claudia went the wrong way couldn’t stop laughing at this bit… question did they actually rehearse this section it was fun to watch.”
Another said: “Claudia messed up the simple choreography.”
And a third added: “Claudia and Tess having no clue how to dance is my Roman Empire.”
Claudia pulled out all the stops for Blackpool week – opting for a fringed sparkly gold dress.
And it certainly sparked a reaction among fans. One commented: “LOVE Claudia’s dress.”
Another said: “Claudia’s dress is fabulous.”
But it divided others, with someone else writing: “Wtf is Claudia wearing it’s like a 70s lampshade.”
And another viewer wrote: “Only Claudia can make that awful dress poncho work.”
