Selena Gomez Reveals She's Returning For 'Wizards Beyond Waverly Place' Season 1 Finale
Selena Gomez is returning for another episode of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place!
The 32-year-old actress and executive producer of the Disney Channel series will reprise her role of Alex Russo once again for an upcoming episode.
Selena previously guest starred in the season one premiere/pilot episode, helping usher in the new generation and introduce a new young wizard in need of help.

It was unknown if and when Selena would return, as she has so many other projects going on, but she took to social media to confirm she’ll be in the season finale!
“NOTHING will ever beat making little kids laugh… thank you @disneywizardsseries for making the little girl in me so happy!! Hope you guys watch!! ????????,” Selena captioned a set of photos from filming the episode on Friday (November 15).
Included in her slideshow were her TV brother David Henrie, young stars of the show, Max Matenko and Taylor Cora, and a photo with the whole cast and crew!
Selena also shared a photo of the script on her story, revealing the episode will be titled, “Nigh Is Now!” and it was written by the showrunners Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas. Andy Fickman returns to direct, after helming the pilot episode and three others in the first batch of episodes released.
“Hope you guys have been watching on Disney+ cause….” she wrote on her Instagram story with the script photo.
