Kate Middleton & Prince William’s love has ‘Benjamin Buttoned’ & ‘built’ to honeymoon period, according to body language
TODAY marks 14 years since it was announced that Prince William and university sweetheart Kate Middleton were engaged to be married.
But according to a body language expert, the couple’s sexual tension is stronger now than ever, and their love appears to have “aged backwards.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton officially announced their engagement at St James’s Palace on November 16, 2010[/caption] Body language professional Judi James claims their love has ‘built up’ to their honeymoon period[/caption]Prince William had whisked Kate Middleton off for a romantic holiday in Kenya, and popped the question while they were staying in an off-grid, remote cabin along the shores of Lake Rutunda.
This followed by an engagement photoshoot and appearances shortly after.
Body language expert Judi James told Fabulous: “Compare William and Kate’s body language during their engagement appearances in 2010 to their body language in Kate’s recent health update video and you see from their body language what looks like a ‘Benjamin Button’ love affair, i.e one that seems to have aged backwards, building up to the honeymoon period rather than starting with it.
“During their formal and rather stilted engagement appearances where a linking of arms was the only PDA, the worry was that William had tried so hard to find the perfect future queen that he’s settled and scrimped on the passion.
“Their recent video though shows a couple in what looks like the honeymoon stage of a marriage: tactile, playful and undeniably sexy, they’ve finally come clean on the intense behind-the-scenes romance they’ve been keeping secret for so long.”
Cinematic footage showed an affectionate Prince and Princess of Wales cuddling and kissing, as they revealed Kate has finished her chemotherapy treatment.
Judi said the contrast in Kate’s body language in 2024 and 2010 is stark.
She explained: “As a royal power couple, Kate’s 2010 desire for perfection and doing everything right has relaxed enough for her to accept and enjoy the fact that she is a royal star in her own right.
“Her red-carpet glamour and the way she carries herself with regal confidence harks back more to that early catwalk appearance that first caught William’s eye than the very toned-down, compliant looks she wore and performed before her wedding.
“She will totally share now in terms of her body language rituals with William, happily laughing, playing and performing to camera with him with a matching set of compelling behaviours.
“Their recent video was like a revealing advent calendar of different glimpses of openly loving behaviours and it’s probably down to Kate that they could share their love so freely without taking any risks in terms of ridicule or over-share.
“Their status and power signals as a couple are now completely evenly balanced.”

“With the magnificent lake glistening nearby and not another soul to witness the magical moment, Kate likely felt that every year she had waited was worth it all for this.
“William had already arranged for a bottle of champagne to be put on ice at the cabin.”

The royal author said William was keen to do the right thing in asking Kate’s dad Michael for her hand in marriage and did so on their return.
The Queen is said to have found out just before the news was announced to the world.
Kate and William got married in front of millions in April 2011, and now have three kids, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis.
