Kristin Chenoweth Shines at ‘Wicked’ Screening at Nyc’s Museum of Modern Art in Glittering Heeled Aquazzura Sandals
Kristin Chenoweth brought a bit of sparkle to a special “Wicked” screening in New York City on Nov. 14, wearing glittering heeled sandals with a chic white dress. Anna Wintour hosted a special screening of the film at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City at Museum of Modern Art.
Chenoweth, who originated the role of Glinda on Broadway, looked sharp in a blazer-style minidress in a stark white hue. The garment featured a sparkling embellished peak lapel offering a silvery glamour to the ensemble. The dress was fitted and fell to mid-thigh, creating a playful take on the professional aesthetic.
Her outfit choice falls in line with the classic Glinda look, which includes feminine and whimsical ensembles in hues of pink and sometimes white. While promoting the new movie, Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda opposite Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba, has worn quite a few white outfits when she isn’t wearing pink.
To complement her dress, Chenoweth wore a pair of heeled sandals that appeared to be a style from Aquazzura. Her shoes featured a crystal-embellished T-strap design in addition to a transparent PVC strap across the toes. The sole was beige with a silver outline offering additional shine to Chenoweth’s outfit. Additionally, a tall stiletto heel boosted the shoe in back. The Aquazzura style is available on resale sites like The RealReal and The Luxury Closet.
Chenoweth has been wearing a range of striking footwear lately. Earlier this week in New York, she stepped out in silver studded heeled sandals from Jimmy Choo to complete a red and white ensemble. Not long before, she was at the Los Angeles premiere of “Wicked” wearing a structured golden bell-shaped dress with metallic heeled sandals.
