Oregon Zoo BrewLights, SnackFest among Portland weekend events

Check out these seven events scheduled in Portland through this Sunday.
BrewLights
When: Friday, Nov. 15 and Sunday, Nov. 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Oregon Zoo, 4001 SW Canyon Rd, Portland, OR 97221
Take in Christmas lights at the Oregon Zoo as you try beer and cider from more than 50 Pacific-Northwest-based brands. This 21+ event costs $65, which includes a souvenir cup and 10 three-ounce drink tastings.
SnackFest
When: Friday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 17 at various times
Where: 100 SE Alder Street, Portland, Oregon 97214
Snack Fest, organized by the same people behind Portland Night Market, is back with even more dishes, treats and drinks from local businesses. General admission to the event is free, but tickets are needed for additional attractions like the Pizza Throwdown
QDoc Film Festival
When: Friday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 17
Where: Hollywood Theatre, 4122 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, OR 97212
The three-day QDoc Film Festival is “the only festival in the world devoted specifically to LGBTQ+ documentaries,” according to the Hollywood Theatre. This year’s installment will include full-length documentaries, short films and question-and-answer sessions with filmmakers.
Portland Holiday Market
When: Friday, Nov. 15 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 16 and Sunday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Where: Portland Expo Center, 2060 Marine Dr W, Portland, OR 97217
With 40 days until Christmas, the Portland Holiday Market is helping people find the best holiday decorations, crafts, food and gifts. The market will also include live performances from Dicken’s Carolers and Santa Claus photo-ops.
"Frozen" In Concert
When: Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m.
Where: Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, 2060 Marine Dr W, Portland, OR 97217
Disney’s Academy-Award-winning “Frozen” will play at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall as the Oregon Symphony performs songs from the soundtrack live. Event organizers describe the concert as “dazzling fun for the entire family!”
FOODIE FILMS: "Ratatouille" hosted by Foodie Snitch
When: Sunday, Nov. 17 at 5 p.m.
Where: Tomorrow Theater, 3530 SE Division St, Portland, OR 97202
Portland food influencer Em Daugherty, better known as Foodie Snitch, will host a screening of “Ratatouille” just after a pre-party at Southeast Division bar The End. She says the animated film is “as delicious as it is profound.”
Andrew Schulz - The Life Tour
When: Sunday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m.
Where: Keller Auditorium, 222 SW Clay St, Portland, OR 97201
Comedian and actor Andrew Schulz, known for his appearance on MTV’s Guy Code, is bringing his stand-up to Portland. Schulz also co-hosts the “Flagrant” and “The Brilliant Idiots” podcasts.
