And boxing experts are eager to see whether Tyson, 58, can rediscover his old heavyweight champion form to silence young pup Paul, 27.
The 31-year age gap between the pair has been one of the most talked-about factors leading up to the fight.
But Tyson set a new tone for the contest when he clashed with Paul during their weigh-in.
The veteran delivered a powerful slap to the face of his social media star opponent.
Footage later revealed Tyson appeared to be retaliating to Paul purposefully stepping on his foot.
But that didn’t stop the YouTuber-turned-fighter from making a chilling promise.
With his face still ringing from Tyson’s hand, Paul declared: “Mike Tyson, that was a cute slap buddy.

It now remains to be seen whether Paul can live up to his words after 11 professional fights.
As for Tyson, the former “Baddest Man on the Planet” has not competed in a sanction pro fight for 19 years.
And popular streamer KSI reckons the fight is heading in just one direction, tipping Paul to easily win due to his younger age.
KSI said: “Jake Paul will knock out Mike Tyson. This will not be close at all.
“Boxing is a young man’s game and Mike is 58 years old.
“They’re sending a lamb to the slaughter and it’s disgusting.”
