Speaking to True Crime News, she said: “My name is Chanel Banks I’m a 36-year-old American nobody.”
The star continued declaring “I’m finally free” before making some disturbing abuse allegations.
She ended her statement with a cryptic phrase that read: “there will be no more lies.”
Banks, who played Sawyer Bennett, a friend of Jenny Humprey, in Season 3 of Gossip Girl, had been missing since October 30.
Her cousin Danielle-Tori Singh told ABC affiliate KABC-TV that she last spoke to her via text.
But in her statement, Banks refused having any contact with her cousin” in over 15 years, much less every day or 48 hours.”
Cops carried out a series of checks at Banks’ Los Angeles apartment on November 7 and 8, per a GoFundMe page.
The actress’ cell phone and laptop were not found in the apartment.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to The U.S. Sun that a missing persons report was filed for Banks on November 8.
The family revealed the actress left her car at her home in the Playa Vista area, which she shares with her husband.
She also left her cat and dog at the house – which her family said was out of character.
“She also does not go anywhere without her little dog,” Singh wrote on the GoFundMe page raising money for Banks’ family during the hunt.
“She would NEVER go anywhere without telling her mom or myself.”
Banks’ belongings were still in the apartment on November 10 when Danielle and the actress’ mom, Judy Singh, visited the property.
Danielle said if she doesn’t hear from her cousin for more than five days, it is a red flag.
“She doesn’t go more than 48 hours without speaking to me or her mom,” she told the KABC.
“That girl is more like a big sister to me.”
“I can tell you in my soul, in my gut, something is not right,” she said.
“We’re crossing two weeks now without a word, without a sound. Nothing.”
Banks, who has lived in Los Angeles for over a decade, starred in three episodes of Gossip Girl.
She also appeared in an episode of Blue Bloods and the action movie Twelve in 2010.
More than $3,000 has been raised on the GoFundMe before it was removed.
