Person struck by train in Manhattan, A subway line delayed: MTA
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A person was struck by a train in Manhattan Thursday morning, according to the MTA.
It happened near West 145th Street and Amsterdam Avenue around 2:50 a.m., according to the FDNY. The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem.
The A subway line was delayed in both directions as a result, the MTA said.
Some southbound A trains ran on the local track from Hoyt–Schermerhorn streets station to Euclid Avenue and C trains ran on the express track between 125th Street and 168th Street in both directions through 8 a.m. Some northbound C trains also ran on the express track from Canal Street to 168th Street, according to the MTA.
