I bought a £31k tiny home on Amazon – it came with a bathroom so you just ‘unfold’ & go, but I made an ordering error
AN Amazon customer overlooked a small detail when placing the order on their £31,600 tiny home.
Nathan Graham, 26, was wowed by how easy it was to build the property despite it arriving without instructions.
Nathan Graham went viral on YouTube when he bought a tiny home, pictured, from Amazon for £31,600[/caption] Nathan filled the house with items bought from Amazon but overlooked an important detail in its product description[/caption]Nathan (@Unspeakable) shared his honest opinions on the prefab house in a video shared with his 18 million YouTube subscribers.
“I was kind of worried buying this thing because it had zero reviews,” he said.
He described the house as being “like a puzzle” as his friends joined him in the process of unfolding it.
“They even taped the key to the house to the door handle,” Nathan said.
The group were able to quickly set up the house and began to open boxes of household items they had also ordered from Amazon.
Furniture, food, and toilet paper were among the living essentials but they noticed a huge problem when it was time to plug in their appliances.
“I’m trying to find somewhere to plug in the fridge but there are no electrical outlets,” Nathan said.
“How are we supposed to plug stuff in, how are we supposed to cook food?” his friend replied.
Nathan rushed to check the product listing on Amazon and was shocked that it stated electricity needs to be installed on purchase.
“It comes with a toilet but it doesn’t come with a plug,” he raged.
They were able to resolve the issue by ordering a generator from the online retailer.
A tour of the home showed it was spacious enough to fit an 80-inch TV in the bedroom, had a full shower and toilet as well as a kitchen.
The group of friends were delighted with the results and gathered to play a game in the dining area.
However, failing to set up the sewage system before they got comfortable meant waste from the toilet was flushed into the garden through a pipe at the back of the house.
Millions of people watched the video and confessed in the comment section that they were impressed by the budget-friendly home.
“I actually like this house. Looks really nice and spacious,” one person wrote.
“I wish I could afford one. This is nicer than what we live in now,” another commented.
“You literally can buy everything off Amazon,” a third chimed in.
“When I first saw the house I was like no way would anyone be able to really live in it full time but once it was revealed that it opens up even more I was really surprised. This is cool,” another added.
