I’m A Celeb boss admits show’s iconic semi-naked shower scenes could be scrapped
I’M A Celeb’s famous showers scenes are in danger of being axed – as this year’s cast want to cover up.
Celebs enjoying a wash under the waterfall have served up some of the most talked about moments in the show’s history.
Kate Garraway, Katie Price and Myleene Klass have all made the most of the fake waterfall.
But executive producer Olly Nash said ahead of the new series “times have changed,” meaning the likes of Coleen Rooney and Maura Higgins may opt to cover up.
He said: “It’s funny, they (celebs) have all asked about that this year, but most people just cover themselves up.
“And it’s absolutely changed. I think the whole world has changed, hasn’t it a lot over the years?
“People are less likely to get in there and want to flaunt themselves.
“They ask can you shower nude, do people shower nude?
“And you go, ‘you’re absolutely welcome’.”
He admitted: “Obviously, you need to be respectful of everybody around you. But the choice is yours. Most people don’t. Most people wear swimmers. Most people face the wall anyway.”
Nigel Farage left viewers feeling sick when he went commando.
Kate represented women in their 50s everywhere when she braved the freezing shower in 2019.
Before her stint in the jungle, the mum-of-two told The Sun that she had packed a skimpy bikini that she would wear if she felt comfortable enough.
Inspired by her co-star’s Caitlyn Jenner courage to shower on screen, Kate followed suit in a red bikini which showcased her knockout figure.
She told us at the time: “You think, ‘I’m never going in that shower. It’s too embarrassing’, but it is the only way to wash. So at some point you’ve got to go in!”
Olly’s comments have landed just as the new line-up met for the first time in Australia.
McFly star Danny Jones was spotted doing a skydive from 10,000ft.
And a Radio 1 DJ gagged while drinking bull’s penis just seconds after meeting his castmates.
