Pregnant Mrs Hinch reveals how she got ‘perfect shade of blue’ for baby’s nursery with £15 Wickes buy & £1.25 wallpaper
SHE knows a few things about getting a home picture perfect.
And she also doesn’t gatekeep, much to fans’ delight.
The nursery currently has the announcement and her sons’ handprints on the wall[/caption]So after finding the “perfect shade of blue” for her baby boy’s nursery, Mrs Hinch quickly took to Instagram to alert her devotees.
She first showed the current state of the nursery, which featured the words “Baby boy #3” written in blue.
There were also loads of blue handprints on the wall, courtesy of her sons Ronnie, five, and Lennie, three.
She then panned the camera over to the chest of drawers, as she showed the “little bits” she’d been collecting ahead of the new arrival – including bibs and nappy cream.
“I can’t believe I’m doing it all again!” the cleanfluencer, real name Sophie Hinchcliffe, added.
“I feel like I’ve forgotten so much of it!”
The 34-year-old also shared a glimpse into how she was planning to decorate the nursery, after ordering some wallpaper samples and paint testers.
“Just wanted to see what you think of it,” she said, as she showed the checked design from I Love Wallpaper.
“If I’ve lost the plot, is it out of date? I don’t know, but I just I love this!
“I absolutely love this design with the dusty blue.”
Sophie then shared the paint she’s hopefully settled on – number 975, named Moon Shadow, from Wickes.
“I found the perfect shade of blue,” she gushed.
And given that the paint is just £15 for 2.5 litres from Wickes, and the wallpaper is £1.25 for a sample, the bedroom makeover isn’t likely to cost too much either.
“I love the idea of a traditional country check nursery in creams and dusty blues,” she wrote over a snap of the paint and wallpaper sample.
“When I opened this wallpaper sample, both me and Jamie really liked it.”
Sophie announced her pregnancy news on Instagram, as she struggled to come to terms with the death of her dad.
And over the top of a snap of herself showing off her growing bump, with beloved dog Henry on her lap, she wrote: “Life really is full of so many unexpected twists and turns.
“An unpredictable rollercoaster as they say.
“And all I do know is… I’m strapped in, with my family, and holding onto every little glimmer I can find along the way.”
