They welcomed Babatunde Aleshe, 38, who was a campmate on 2022, to talk about his experiences and the fresh 2024 show line-up.
Yet after explaining why he couldn’t take part in the terrifying Walk The Plank challenge, Kate swiftly picked up to talk about her brave feat.
She excelled in the opening task despite being spiked with fear.
Kate then admitted she had “gone off on a tangent” as she chatted about a concept called “lizard brain” and the “basic fear of heights.”
The mum of two referred to the parts of the brain responsible for basic survival functions and referenced a survey on babies.
She also gave a nod to her late husband, Derek Draper, as she told the panel: “I have done a lot of research into brains for various reasons for the past four years.
“But yeah, the lizard brain is your hardwire thing.”
Ye after getting scolded in her earpiece Kate shared the comments from GMB bosses as she said: “They just told me to let you talk, it’s a fair point,
“You are the guest.”
Fans were quick to pick up on her interview takeover, with one writing on X: “How many times is Kate going to cut straight over Richard during this interview? How rude?!”
A second mused: “I thought this was about Babatunde.”
A third then put: “Currently she is attempting to explain the term lizard brain and flailing badly.”
Attempting to change the subject, Richard asked Babatunde: “Who’s your money on then?”
