Eva Longoria Reveals She Moved Her Family Out of 'Dystopian' United States
Eva Longoria no longer lives in the United States.
In a new interview with Marie Claire, the 49-year-old Desperate Housewives actress shared her thoughts on Donald Trump winning the election and revealed that she and her family have moved out of the country.
Keep reading to find out more…“I had my whole adult life here,” Eva shared. “But even before [the pandemic], it was changing. The vibe was different. And then COVID happened, and it pushed it over the edge. Whether it’s the homelessness or the taxes, not that I want to s–t on California — it just feels like this chapter in my life is done now.”
Eva – who shares 6-year-old son Santiago with José Bastón – now splits her time between Mexico and Spain.
The Only Murders in the Building actress went on to acknowledge that she’s “privileged” to be able to move out of the U.S.
“I get to escape and go somewhere,” Eva said. “Most Americans aren’t so lucky. They’re going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them.”
Eva noted that she often travels around Europe and South America for work, but rarely returns to Los Angeles.
Another star also recently revealed they moved their family out of the United State and to Europe.
