UConn signs elite 4-man recruiting class
Head coach Dan Hurley and the UConn men’s basketball team have signed a four-member freshman Class of 2025, with aid agreements signed on Wednesday.
The Huskies will welcome a highly-touted class including Darius Adams, Jacob Furphy, Braylon Mullins and Eric Reibe to Storrs ahead of the 2025-26 season.
“The staff, particularly Luke Murray and Kimani Young, did a tremendous job putting together this class,” Hurley said in a statement. “We are welcoming four high-level men to our program who will fit seamlessly with our culture. They are intelligent, hard-working, well-coached and disciplined young men with well-rounded skillsets that will help us continue to compete for and win championships.”
UConn’s incoming class is ranked in the top-three nationally by every major recruiting ranking system, marking Connecticut’s second top-five class in the last three cycles. Mullins is a consensus top-20 prospect and has a five-star rating on 247’s composite rankings. Adams is ranked as high as No. 19 (ESPN) and is a consensus top-25 prospect, also earning a five-star designation. Reibe holds a consensus top-30 ranking and is among the top centers in the class, while Furphy is considered one of the top international players available.

Hurley on Adams: “Darius comes in with all the pedigree and the character that we love in our people. Great basketball family, the type of skill and size at the guard spot that has gotten us where we are. Excellent offensive player who can score at all three levels, a big-time shooter.”
Jacob Furphy | Tasmania, Australia | NBA Global Academy | 6-6 | 210 | G

Hurley on Mullins: “An explosive player. A big-time talent who comes from a great basketball state, son of a former big-time player, so it’s in his DNA. He’s got off-the-charts shooting, incredible athleticism at the rim and a guy that is going to continue this run of incredible guards that come here and are great players.”
Eric Reibe | Hanover, Germany | The Bullis School (Md.) | 7-0 | 230 | C

Hurley on Reibe (pronounced rye-buh): “What a UConn type of guy. With competitiveness and his work ethic along with his passion for the game, he is going to become a fan favorite quickly. He brings an advanced skillset to the center position. Offensively, he’s so far ahead of the game. A 7-footer with that combination of size and skill, he’s going to be an impact player.”
