Person struck by subway train in Lower Manhattan, causing delays: MTA
LOWER MANHATTAN (PIX11) -- A person was struck by a subway train in Lower Manhattan Wednesday evening, according to the MTA.
The incident happened around 6:29 p.m.
EMS is responding to the Brooklyn Bridge - City Hall station.
There are delays on the 4 and 5 subway lines in both directions. Commuters should also expect delays to the southbound 2 and 6 trains.
The last stop on northbound 4 trains will be Wall St, according to the MTA. The trains will then turn back for Brooklyn-bound service.
Southbound 5 trains will run via the 2 from 149 St-Grand Concourse to Nevins St. Southbound 4 trains will run local from 125 St to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall.
