The video teased a look at the invites, which are white cards featuring Princess Kate‘s royal cypher stamped in gold, with a “C” for Catherine below a crown.
Kensington Palace said that 1,600 people will be invited to this year’s holiday concert, via People, and that the Princess wanted to recognize people who support those in need, who “above all else, shown that love is the greatest gift we can receive.”
“This theme takes inspiration from the Christmas story, which encourages us to consider the experiences of others and the important human need of giving and receiving empathy,” the palace said in a statement.
