Jamie Lee Curtis Quits X, Shares a Prayer
Jamie Lee Curtis is no longer active on X, formerly Twitter.
The Everything Everywhere All at Once actor announced on Instagram that she’s deactivated her X account on Wednesday (November 13).
“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can. And the wisdom to know the difference,” she wrote.
She did not provide a specific reason for leaving X, but she’s not the only one to do so recently: The Guardian have announced they will stop posting on X due to the social media platform’s toxic nature.
The Guardian put out a statement, explaining it was due to “often disturbing content promoted or found on the platform, including far-right conspiracy theories and racism.”

Jamie previously reacted to Donald Trump’s victory over Kamala Harris on social media, saying it “means a sure return to a more restrictive, some fear draconian time.”
“Many fear their rights will be impeded and denied. Many, minority groups and young people will be afraid. Gay and trans people will be more afraid. We know that many women will now find it difficult to get the reproductive healthcare that they need and deserve. For all those people there will be those who will help you. Me included.”
“But what it really means is that we wake up and fight. Fight for women and our children and their futures and fight against tyranny, one day at a time. One fight at a time. One protest at a time. That’s what it means to be an American. That’s what it has always meant and will always mean regardless of the outcome,” she wrote.
