Upcoming road closure announced in Glenville
GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The New York State Department of Transportation announced an upcoming road closure. Starting Monday, Nov. 18, State Route 147 between Goldfoot Road and Dawson Road will be closed to traffic in both directions.
The closure is due to a culvert repair. Construction is expected to be complete by Saturday, Nov. 23, around 3 p.m.
Drivers are encouraged to follow posted detours. Cars are asked to use West Glenville Road, Ridge Road and Church Road, while trucks are asked to use Charlton Road, Stage Road, Lake Hill Road and Saratoga Road.
Schenectady County said delays in the area are expected during construction. Also, the work is dependent on weather and are subject to change based on daily conditions.
