Crews quell evening fire in Slingerlands
SLINGERLANDS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Multiple crews responded to a structure fire in Slingerlands on Tuesday night. The fire broke out around 6:05 p.m. at a residence on Eastmount Drive at the Bethlehem Terrace apartments.
Firefighters and police arrived to a scene of fire and smoke coming from the residential unit. Bethlehem Police said the building's occupants were all able to escape, and several fire agencies from Bethlehem and Guilderland collaborated to extinguish the blaze successfully.
No one was injured during the operation, according to police. Officials reported that while the cause of the fire remains under investigation, the incident does not appear to be suspicious.
