Judge in election subversion case faces cloudy future over 'his rhetoric and exhortation'
The judge presiding over the criminal election subversion case against Donald Trump allies is facing accusations of anti-Trump bias, according to a report.
Judge Bruce Cohen urged white male colleagues to condemn GOP attacks on Kamala Harris’ race and gender, Politico reported, and characterized the current political climate as resisting the Nazis.
The judge quickly scheduled a "hastily convened" conference for Wednesday to go over the future of the case after an attorney for one of the defendants called for the judge to be removed.

“While Judge Cohen is entitled to his political opinions and speech,” wrote attorneys David Warrington and Michael Columbo on behalf of state Sen. Jake Hoffman, “his rhetoric and exhortation precisely mirrors the evidence of hostile partisan political zealotry at the heart of the motions to dismiss [the case] that have been languishing before the Court for months.”
A grand jury indicted 18 Trump allies in April in the case, including former chief of staff Mark Meadows, attorney and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Arizona GOP Chair Kelli Ward.
Trump is not charged in the case.
