'Dark impulse': Stephen Miller's uncle terrified by his mass deportation schemes
Donald Trump adviser Stephen Miller's uncle opened up to the Daily Mail about his nephew's plans for mass deportation — and how it terrifies him.
This comes as Miller was tapped for Trump's deputy chief of staff, who will help manage operations at the White House under Susie Wiles, the manager of Trump's 2024 campaign.
The uncle in question, David Glosser, has already written extensively against his nephew, calling him bigoted.
"Stephen is just an ambitious functionary of [Trump's] dark impulse," Glosser told the Mail. Regarding Miller's role in the next Trump administration, "I expect to have my lowest expectations met."

"Trump has casually remarked that our constitution can be suspended and that he would be willing to exercise dictatorial powers," Glosser continued. "We can expect that he will fill his cabinet and staff with those whose primary qualification is personal obeisance to him rather than loyalty to the rule of law as outlined in our Constitution."
"We all have moral decisions to make in life," he added. "How can we live together? Do we wish to dwell in light, fellowship, and hope or in darkness, hostility, and fear? Now we will find out."
Miller is one of just a handful of Trump loyalists who lasted throughout the former president's previous term, with most of them either falling out with him or signing on closer to the end.
Since leaving office, Miller founded an organization, America First Legal that has tried to unwind racial equality protections in the federal government, with at least some success, getting a program to aid historically oppressed Black farmers thrown out. The group has also been involved in election litigation.
