Lake Charles man arrested after two missing girls found, Calcasieu sheriff says
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) -- An investigation regarding two missing 14-year-old girls led to the arrest of a Lake Charles man, who is accused of kissing and sending a sexually explicit video to one of the girls, according to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.
According to a news release, 22-year-old Micah I. Ford was arrested and charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile. Ford was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center with a $105,000 bond.
The sheriff's office said deputies went to a home on Red Tailed Hawk Drive around 3 p.m. on Friday regarding two 14-year-old girls who had been reported missing the day before.
Family members of one of the girls told investigators that the teen's cellphone was showing it was located at that residence, according to the news release.
"Deputies made contact with Micah I. Ford, 22, Lake Charles, who confirmed to deputies the two girls were hiding inside his residence," the sheriff's office said.
"During further investigation, it was learned Ford had kissed one of the girls and sent a sexually explicit video to her," the sheriff's office continued.
CPSO Det. Clay Planchard is the lead investigator on this case.
