Amtrak service suspended between NYC and New Haven
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Amtrak service between New York City and New Haven has been suspended for the rest of the day due to a brush fire, officials said.
“As of 4:11 PM ET, rail service between New York (NYP) and New Haven (NHV) is suspended for the remainder of the day due to a brush fire in the New York (NYP) area,” Amtrak Northeast shared on X.
The Metro-North Railroad will honor tickets between Grand Central in New York City and New Haven (NHV), according to Amtrak.
Amtrak was unable to estimate when normal services would resume.
