Tottenham refusing to talk to Napoli about potential January transfer
While Napoli are keen to sign a Tottenham first-team player, the North London club have reportedly not shown any willingness to negotiate so far.
Radu Dragusin continues to be linked with move
Radu Dragusin has got plenty of game time under his belt over recent weeks due to Micky van de Ven‘s hamstring injury.
If the former Genoa man was thinking about leaving in search of minutes, one would assume that his mind has changed in light of the opportunities he is now getting.
However, the reports linking him with a return to Serie A show no signs of dissipating as we edge closer to the January transfer window.
Tottenham not willing to negotiate Radu Dragusin sale
Over recent weeks, reports have indicated that Juventus (Gazzetta dello Sport), Inter Milan (InterLive) and Napoli (The Mirror) hold an interest in signing Dragusin.
Journalist Nicolo Ceccarini has now offered an update on Napoli’s pursuit of the 22-year-old, revealing that although Antonio Conte’s men are keen on him, Spurs have not come to the negotiating table.
He told BianconeraNews: “There are many profiles that Napoli are thinking about. Among these are certainly Dragusin and Kiwior. As for the first, Tottenham have not yet opened up to any transfers.”
Some Spurs fans may not mind seeing Dragusin replaced
Dragusin has failed to cover himself in glory in some of his recent performances, with a lot of Tottenham fans doubting if he is a good fit for Ange Postecoglou‘s system.
Some supporters may not mind if Spurs decide to sell the Romanian in January and replace him with a defender who is better in possession.
However, it would be harsh to judge the centre-back before he has had a few more matches under his belt, and Tottenham are unlikely to consider cutting their losses so soon.
