Trump re-works campaign committee to allow him to fundraise without reelection push: CNN
Under the constitution, Donald Trump's presidency has to end after the completion of his second term in office, meaning he cannot fundraise for a reelection campaign.
CNN's David Wright on Tuesday noted a shift in Trump's campaign into a leadership political action committee (PAC).
This is "a move that will allow him to continue to raise and spend funds for political purposes, without running again," said Wright. "Post-2020, Trump formed a similar PAC, 'Save America,' which covered millions in legal fees."

The new group is called "Never Surrender PAC," a key slogan from Trump's presidential campaign that referred to his legal cases.
The Washington Post reported that "the leadership PAC that Trump has used to pay his legal bills and those of some of his associates raised $1.4 million in September and spent $4 million, most of it on lawyers, demonstrating how the former president’s legal problems have continued to strain campaign resources."
