FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Today is going to be much more seasonable for this time of year as temperatures only reach the mid 50s. The mostly cloudy skies will eventually clear out and become mostly clear by the evening. The northerly flow of wind will also keep a distinct chill in the air today.
Overnight temperatures will fall to at or below freezing for most of Central Ohio. The low in the city will be in the low 30s with some rural spots dropping to the mid 20s. The drop in temps is aided be the clear skies that will stick around.
Most of Wednesday will stay dry and relatively uneventful. What happens overnight will be different. Additional chances of showers move in Wednesday night into Thursday. This comes with the third cold front of the week, but it is going to be aided by some tropical moisture from the remnants of Rafael in the gulf. New rainfall totals are expected to be between 0.5-.0.75″.
Dry conditions will return once again by Friday. Central Ohio, along with the entire eastern half of the country, will enter a stretch of well above average temperatures as the second half of the month progresses.
