Laura Vaughan’s MAFS diary: The final dinner party was a disaster – I can’t believe disrespectful Adam got to final vows
MARRIED At First Sight’s final dinner party was explosive.
Last night saw Polly and Adam, Nathan and Lacey, Ryan and Amy and Sacha and Ross come together one last time.
Laura Vaughan is The Sun’s MAFS columnist[/caption]There were some pretty shocking scenes after Polly shocked her co-stars by dropping the C-bomb while sitting at the table together.
So let’s just get into what happened…
If you are as obsessed as Married At First Sight as I am, you need to keep reading, as I’ve got some thoughts…
Polly and Adam
I lost count the swear words that Polly called her husband.
Polly said that Adam has lied to her, she thinks he’s been dishonest…
I assume you’ve met Adam, he is acutely honest where it’s quite uncomfortable at times?
I said last time I feel he’s been clear about not liking her, it’s that she’s chosen to not listen.
Now the girls are saying the same thing and she’s woken up and thought ‘Oh my god. I’m going to have to turn this around on him now, have I misread the signals?
‘I could have left multiple times but I’ve chosen to stay.
‘I’m going to have to make this his fault.’
Now I’m not saying Adam is blameless in this, he was disrespectful when he was like ‘I haven’t been hugging you, I haven’t been touching you’.
He said you’ve been begging for it… we know she has, but did he really need to say it in front of everyone?
Then we saw her call him a narcissist…
She has no right to calling him one, she doesn’t understand the meaning of the word, she’s not a narcissist he’s just got no emotional intelligence and he’s been an idiot.
Polly does lack accountability.
They both thought we’ve made it to the end, we’ve got to final vows, we’ve got nothing to lose, we don’t think this is going to work, so let’s create some drama.
I can’t believe they’ve allowed them to get to final vows.
With all due respect I don’t think that they should have got to this point.
I think after she called him the c-word, they should have decided to leave.
We’ve seen it happen before with Mark and Sean and Thomas and Adrian, I don’t know what they are going to achieve other than create more drama.
Amy and Luke
Amy said to Luke that he’s not the husband she wanted. I think she was fair.
He’s lied a lot during the experiment, she’s not bothered about the lies, just that he keeps telling them.
I imagine that Luke will want to stay, and she’ll want to leave.
It’s a shame, they’ve got elements that really work but as soon as their husband gives you the ick. They’ve got to go!
I was confused when Adam flirting with Amy during couples swap week came up.
Adam said ‘I didn’t pay her a compliment, I just said that you should both put the underwear on and it’ll determine who will look the sexiest.
That boy needs to learn when to not talk.
The final vows
The final vows this season looks like it’s going to be a big disaster.
We see Sacha and Ross having a melt down, they’ve got to final vows and we know he leaves her shortly after the show, but she’s really upset that he won’t move to Walsall.
An absolute disaster for success rate, but have I enjoyed every minute? Yes I have!
I can’t wait to see how it goes down at final vows.
