I’m going to war with my nasty Karen neighbour – she built a plant garden on my property line just to be petty
A WOMAN has declared that she is going to war with her nasty ‘Karen’ neighbour.
The anonymous woman confessed that her neighbour, whom she doesn’t get along with, purposely built a plant garden right on her property line, just to be petty.
Fuming with her neighbour’s actions, the woman took to social media to share all, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on Reddit, on the r/BadNeighbors thread, under the username @Fluffy-Skill4519, the woman titled her post ‘Neighbour plants garden on property line to be petty.’
She then explained: “Long post, but NEIGHBOUR war ahead: So I have had my past issues with my Karen neighbour, it’s been two years since our last altercation.”
The poster confessed that the initial issue began when her neighbour’s swing, which was attached to a tree, overlapped onto her property.
Whilst it didn’t bother her, she shared that the neighbour then moaned that her fire pit, which was on her property and came with her house, was “burning and damaging” her swing.
But the neighbour row then developed, as the woman claimed: “She then called the cops every time we used the fire pit saying we were burning garbage which was not true.”
But if you thought that was bad, the woman explained that things have now got much worse.
She added: “Well last week she built a garden on her side and ON the property line.
“I was told nothing can be built or planted ON the property line unless both property owners on each side agreed, and also that usually it must have an easement of at least three to five feet on each side of the property line.”
As a result, the woman went to the police to report the issue, as she said: “They said it was a civil matter but that I could remove the stones from the property line and from around the property line post marker.
“I was also told I may need to have a survey done.
“But we have our paperwork from when we bought the house that clearly shows us the line.”
The woman also explained: “I have caught her on my property tending to this garden from my side. It’s quite deliberate.
She’s very nasty and I don’t want to lose control

“I don’t bother her but she has been doing these microaggressions that seem to be harmless and it’s not.
“She is like a child pointing her finger at us and saying ‘I’m not touching you’.

Meanwhile, someone else confessed: “I understand your frustration. I’m dealing with neighbours who use mowing as a tool of bullying and harassing me.
“They constantly mow over into my yard…I hope you find a resolution for your situation.”
