Albany Police investigating armed robbery on Hudson Avenue
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Police Department confirmed that an investigation is underway into an armed robbery at Pine Hills Market on Hudson Avenue. The incident took place around 1:40 p.m. on Friday.
Officers responding to the scene spoke to a store employee, who stated that a man had entered the store and pointed a handgun at the cashier while demanding money from the register. The clerk reportedly complied and the suspect fled the scene with the cash.
According to police, no one was injured during the robbery. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Albany Police's Detective Division at (518)462-8039.
