Lake Charles man accused of 1st degree rape of preteen girl

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) -- A Lake Charles man has been arrested and charged with raping a preteen girl, authorities said.
Lee A. Adams, Jr., 23, of Lake Charles, is charged with first degree rape of a victim under the age of 13.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call Nov. 3 in reference to a sexual assault of a girl under the age of 13. During the investigation, detectives received information identifying the suspect as Adams, officials said.
He was arrested Thursday and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. His bond is set at $1.5 million.
