Where to get Thanksgiving dinner in the Capital Region
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Thanksgiving Day is coming up on Thursday, November 28. While many people like to cook their Thanksgiving meals themselves, others may prefer to get their meals catered or to dine-in at restaurants.
For those who may not be able to afford Thanksgiving dinner this year, there are some options through the Regional Food Bank, the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, the Capital City Rescue Mission, or you can check with your city or town. Here’s some options on where you can buy Thanksgiving dinner in the Capital Region.
Dine-in
Dukes Chophouse, Schenectady
Dukes Chophouse, located in Rivers Casino in Schenectady, is offering a three-course Thanksgiving dinner. The dinner includes butternut squash bisque or harvest salad, turkey roulade, and cider doughnut bread pudding. You can make a reservation by calling (518) 579-8850.
Dine-in and take-out
Innovo Kitchen, Latham
Innovo Kitchen, located at 1214 Troy Schenectady Road in Latham, is offering both in-house dining and take-home Thanksgiving meals. You can view the menus for both on the Innovo Kitchen website.
Dine-in will be available on Thanksgiving on from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can call (518) 608-1466 to make a reservation. You can order take-out meals online through the Innovo Kitchen website.
Thirsty Owl, Saratoga Springs
Thirsty Owl, located at 184 South Broadway in Saratoga Springs, is having a buffet on Thanksgiving with seatings at noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. They are also offering cold and hot take-out meals for those who want to eat at home. Cold will be available for pick up at 10 a.m. and hot orders will be available at 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Orders must be placed by November 21.

19th Hole Cafe, Duanesburg
19th Hole Cafe, located at Briar Creek Golf Course at 2347 Pangburn Road in Duanesburg, is offering both dine-in and take-out meals for Thanksgiving. Buffet seating times are available for noon and 4 p.m. Take-out packages can includes either just turkey with all the sides, or turkey and prime ribs with sides.
Reservations and take-out orders must be placed by November 26 and you can call (518) 355-2314. Orders must be picked up on November 27 between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Peppermill Family Restaurant, South Glens Falls
The Peppermill Family Restaurant, located at 110 Main Street in South Glens Falls, is offering both dine-in and take-out Thanksgiving menus. You can view both menus on the Peppermill Facebook page.
The restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for breakfast and then from noon to 6 p.m. serving its Thanksgiving menu. You can call (518) 793-4606 or email jennie@jenniedore.com for reservations and take-out orders.
Maria's Cafe and Catering, Schenectady
Maria's Cafe and Catering, located at 412 Union Street in Schenectady, is offering Thanksgiving dinner for pick-up and dine-in. The dinner includes roasted turkey, gravy, sausage stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts, butternut squash, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, and a choice of apple, pumpkin or chocolate cream pie.
Dine-in on Thanksgiving Day is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Take-out meals must be picked up on November 27 or 28 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. You can make a reservations or place an order on the Maria's Cafe website.
Reds Restaurant, Coxsackie
Reds Restaurant, located at 12005 Route 9W in Coxsackie, is offering both a Thanksgiving dine-in buffet and take-out meals. The buffet includes a carving station with turkey and ham, soup, salads, haddock, stuffing, potatoes, squash, desserts, and more. The take-out dinner includes turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, stuffing, cranberry-orange bread and a slice of pumpkin pie.
You must pre-order your take-out meals by November 24. You can place an order on the Reds website. The buffet is being offering from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can call (518) 731-8151 for reservations.
Take-out
Cardona’s Market, Albany, Latham, Saratoga Springs
Cardona's Market is offering special take-away dinner boxes with a half or full carved turkey, gravy, whipped potatoes, sweet potato soufflé, stuffing, garlic green beans, arancini with marinara, cranberry relish, dinner rolls, and apple or pumpkin pie. The half-turkey serves four to six people, and the full-turkey menu serves 10 to 12 people.
You can order on the Cardona's website or by emailing jessicae@cardonasmarket.com. Orders must be submitted by November 22 at 5 p.m. and picked up on November 27 at all three location from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
More Perreca's, Schenectady
More Perreca's, located at 31 North Jay Street in Schenectady, is offering Thanksgiving take-home dinners for four to five people and eight to 10 people. The meals feature turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans almondine, candied yams, cranberry sauce, Italian bread, and pumpkin and apple pie.
Pick-up is on Thanksgiving from 9 a.m. to noon. You can place your order on the Perreca's website.
Signal 30 BBQ, Cohoes
Signal 30, located at 201 Columbia Street in Cohoes, is offering a take-home Thanksgiving dinner with a smoked half-turkey, full turkey or two turkeys. The order also incudes gravy, mashed potatoes and stuffing, with the option to add a tray of mac and cheese.

The Healthy Cafe Catering Co., Albany
The Healthy Cafe Catering Co., located at 50 Yardboro Avenue in Albany, is offering Thanksgiving dinner with options for up to 10 people, for two, or a la carte dishes. The menu includes sliced turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry-orange sauce, rolls, pumpkin pie, apple crumb pie, and dessert bars.

PDT Catering, located at 2861 Route 9 in Malta, is offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, a contemporary dinner, or an option to order the sides separately. The traditional dinner includes a turkey, gravy, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, buttered corn, cranberry relish, dinner rolls, and a pumpkin or apple pie. The contemporary dinner features a lemon herb turkey, rosemary potatoes, sweet potatoes, bacon bourbon brussels, corn casserole, hibiscus cranberry sauce, parmesan thyme popovers and a cranberry pear tart.

Meat & Company, located at 2321 Nott Street East in Niskayuna, is offering Thanksgiving meal packages that include smoked turkey, gravy, cornbread stuffing, a choice of sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, potato salad, or mac and cheese, and a choice of pumpkin or chocolate pecan pie.

Dessert options include pumpkin pie, pecan pie, plain cheesecake, and chocolate mousse cake.
