What We’re Tracking
- Cloudy and chilly Friday
- Rain moves in by the afternoon
- Drying out early Saturday
A cloudy start to our Friday as rain starts to move in to our western counties this morning. Temperatures are starting off in the middle to upper 40s and we won't warm up much throughout the daytime.
Many will manage to stay dry through the lunch hour as a low pressure system rolls in. we'll see cloudy skies early Friday with highs struggling to make it out of the upper 50s. Winds will remain from the northeast upwards to 15 MPH with some stronger breezes as the rain lifts in from the south. Some storms are possible as the evening goes on although nothing severe is expected. With this next system, an additional 1-2" of rain is possible. The most likely time period for rain will be Friday evening through early Saturday.
After drying out early Saturday, temperatures will remain slightly above average through the weekend and into the start of next week, with plenty of sunshine and highs in the lower to mid-60s. Dry conditions will persist until midweek.
