Married At First Sight grooms in secret bust up over money as stars fall out off screen ahead of reunion
THE grooms on Married At First Sight have been engulfed in a secret bust up over money off screen.
Ahead of the reunion, many of the cast are no longer on speaking terms in what has been called “one of the biggest feuds in MAFS history.”
The Sun can reveal that there has been a bitter behind the scenes bust up on the show that hasn’t played out on tv.
It comes as several of the show’s grooms have fallen out with star Ross McCarthy, 32, on Married At First Sight UK.
They are apparently no longer speaking to him since filming wrapped – and it turns out the fallout is over money.
An insider told The Sun: “A lot of the grooms are not happy with Ross as he borrowed money from several of them during filming and it all turned a bit nasty.
“They had to chase him to pay them back for months and now lots of them aren’t speaking to him and none of them are following him anymore on social media.
“Even though it was initially an issue between the lads, a lot of the brides on the show have sided with their husbands and are no longer in contact with Ross.”
They added: “There is a lot of bad blood over it.”
However, a source close to Ross insists he has repaid all his debts.
“He did borrow some money but it’s all been paid back,” says a pal of the painter and decorator.
MAFS is filming a Christmas reunion special and The Sun is told that none of the cast want to film with Ross if he ends up taking part.
“They have told producers they do not want to be in the same room as him.
“They don’t even refer to him as Ross anymore, they call him ‘that man’. It’s one of the biggest feuds in MAFS history.”
The Sun has reached out to a rep for Ross for comment.
