‘Cycling for Love’ charity bike ride to raise funds for prematurely-born kids
To support prematurely-born children, the Panos Evripidou Foundation will hold the charity bike ride, “Cycling for Love”, for the ninth consecutive year. The ride will take place on Sunday, November 17, 2024, within the framework of World Prematurity Day, in collaboration with the “Mora Thavmata” charity and the Limassol Cycling Team, in memory of Christian and Panos Evripidou.
The Panos Evripidou Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life of kids born prematurely, who struggle to overcome the challenges brought about by their premature birth. This year, the Foundation completes 10 years of giving, helping over 213 children across Cyprus with financial support for treatments amounting to over €380,000.
“Cycling for Love” riders will cover a 10km loop, setting off from the entrance of Limassol’s KEAN factory at 9am (registration at 8.30am), until they reach the lights of the Poseidonia Hotel, Ayios Tychona area, after which they will head back to the factory.
You, too, can take part in “Cycling for Love”, either by direct participation or by sponsoring a rider with the sum of your choice. Money raised will be donated to the non-profit Panos Evripidou Foundation, to improve the lives of prematurely borns, lend a “smile to a soul” and provide hope for a better future.
