Affordable Co-op apartments for sale on NYC's Housing Connect
BROOKLYN (PIX11)— The Housing Connect website currently lists 46 new units in four new buildings for New Yorkers looking for one—to two-bedroom co-op apartments.
The Co-op apartments are in Brooklyn and are for New Yorkers who earn between $84,000 and $220,000 yearly from their jobs.
'Most HDFC coop apartments available for sale are listed like other coops in the City – by shareholders or the coop's Board of Directors through brokers and real estate websites. Sometimes, they are advertised through non-profit organizations. Some HDFC coop availabilities are listed through the City's affordable housing lottery portal, NYC Housing Connect," read the website for New Yorkers wanting to purchase a co-op. "Buyers of HDFC apartments must fulfill certain requirements outlined in the law, including any document signed by the coop with a governmental agency and the coop's governing documents."
According to the listing, Belle Gardens eligible buyers should have 10% of the purchase price available for a down payment on this current co-cop listing.
