How to get a free turkey for Thanksgiving at local supermarkets in NYC
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and many are already thinking of their dinner plans.
Multiple supermarket chains in the New York City area are hosting promotions for a free turkey or ham in time for the holiday.
The promotions typically involve spending a certain amount within a time frame before Thanksgiving. Shoppers at all chain locations will be eligible to participate.
Supermarkets offering free turkey
ShopRite
You can get a free turkey or ham if you spend $400 by Nov. 28. Shoppers must use the same Price Plus club card at any ShopRite location for their purchases to be tracked.
BJ’s Wholesale Club
Members of BJ's can get a digital coupon for a free turkey after spending $150 in one transaction before Nov. 14. Purchases can be made in-store or online, but shoppers must have an account on the website or app. The coupon will be valid until Nov. 27.
Foodtown
You can get a free turkey or a gift card when you shop with your club card and spend $400 by Nov. 28. Purchases will be tracked using the club card.
Aldi
Aldi offers a Thanksgiving meal, turkey included, for 10 people for about $47. Special pricing on products popular for Thanksgiving feasts will be available at Aldi stores through Nov. 27.
