UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) --- A man allegedly shot his boss twice after a heated argument on the Upper West Side Thursday morning, according to police and witnesses.
The computer store owner was shot in the leg and shoulder near West 68th Street and Columbus Avenue at around 9:20 a.m., according to the NYPD and store workers. Witnesses told PIX11 News the owner and employee got into a fight before shots rang out.
The victim was struck after following the suspect onto the street, witnesses said. The man was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooter then escaped into the 72nd Street subway station, sparking a manhunt that disrupted several subway lines in Manhattan, according to police and the MTA. Surveillance video appears to show the armed suspect walking down the street.
There have been no arrests.
