The Adelphi Theatre was built in 1930 and boasts a distinct Art Deco vibe. Unlike many theatres built in the 30’s, the auditorium has a less clinical layout and still has the characteristic ‘U’ shape that many other theatres built in the late 19th Century have.The theatre holds around 1,500 seats spread across three levels; the Stalls, Dress Circle and Upper Circle. Generally speaking, the best sections for viewing the show are the centres of the Stalls and Dress Circle, however these are also the most pricey. Bargain seats can be found in the Upper Circle, but these are not always recommended for those with a fear of heights.
