Aitch reveals gruelling training regime as he prepares to climb Mount Kilimanjaro
BACK in June my favourite rapper Aitch told me he was preparing to take on his biggest ever challenge – climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with his dad Mike and a team of pals to raise money for the Down’s Syndrome Association in honour of his amazing sister Gracie.
And now with two months to go, I caught up with him to find out how he is getting on.

“I’ve been doing incline walks and playing a lot of padel but as the weeks go on I’ll be turning up the intensity.”
The rapper, is planning a low-key Christmas and admits he’s dialled down the celebrations to keep on top of his training.
He said: “I’m having a wholesome Christmas with my family at my house so I don’t think it’s time for a blowout. I might have a Baileys.”
So far Aitch has raised more than £28,000 for the Down’s Syndrome Association and hopes to hit £70,000.
Aitch says he wants to raise awareness of Down’s syndrome and end the stigma attached to it.
“The simplest way of explaining it is that Gracie is just the same as everyone else,” he tells me.
“She’s smart and very funny. People should know that those with Down’s syndrome can live a normal life.
“They should have the same opportunities other people have. My job is to make people realise.”
