Julian Beaumont Leading Bobcats Early Season Surge

Bismarck, ND. – The Bobcats are off to a hot start, now at 13-1-0-1, and third year forward Julian Beaumont has been a major reason why. Beaumont is currently the Bobcats leader in goals and points, while also being tied for first on the team in assists. When asked about his success this season, Beaumont said “It feels really good. I mean, it’s been exciting. It’s been very fun playing for the team and starting off real well.” The Bobcats currently sit atop the league standings and have bolstered some incredible offensive play. Beaumont gave a lot of that credit to their new system “I feel like our team, especially with the kind of systems that we’ve learned this year we’re on the same page.” He also went on to add “everyone has really good knowledge of the game and possesses the puck very well. So up and down the lineup, there’s really no one straggling behind. Everyone can keep up with each other.”
Beaumont has been one of the Bobcats leaders in points since joining the team in 2022, with 39 goals, 60 assists and 99 points in 123 games. Beaumont has also scored two game winning goals and has three powerplay points this season. The Plano, Texas native is closing in on a few Bobcats all-time lists, he is now just six assists shy of Dan Zawaki for fourth most assists in team history, 10 goals away from tying Ryan Wiggins for fifth in all time goals by a Bobcat, and 16 points from tying Evan Giesler for fifth in points for a member of the Bobcats. I asked Beaumont how he has managed success and how his game has grown, he went on to talk about Head Coach Garrett Roth and his impact “He’s kind of pushed me a little more to work on more stuff than I have in the past. Like just my knowledge and thought of the game. He’s kind of opened that up a little more. Also, he’s pushed me to keep my feet moving and work on my shot. He thinks that my shot is one of my key parts that makes me a good player.”
Beaumont is committed to Robert-Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania for the 2025-2026 season. He will join former Bobcats captain Patrick Johnson as a member of the Colonials. Getting to play with Patrick Johnson again is something Beaumont looks forward to. “It’s a little soothing knowing I have someone in that and he’ll have a year gone. So he’ll have experience at that level.” Robert-Morris is a part of the AHA, a Division 1 NCAA conference. Beaumont’s experience as a member of the Bobcats, and familiarity playing with Patrick Johnson, will prove helpful in his own success at Robert-Morris University.
